    What is a zine?
    A fanzine is a non-professional and non-official publication by enthusiasts of a particular cultural phenomenon for the pleasure of others who share their interest.
    What is a Heat Wave?
    Heat Wave is a 18+ SFW Digital Zine that centres around DekuBaku within the summer-themed spectrum and elements. This will have a NSFW & Problematic Add-on named “Bonfire”.
    What is DekuBaku?
    DekuBaku or DkBk is Top!Deku and Bottom!Kacchan dynamic of the Izuku and Katsuki ship. This means all explicit scenes should have that dynamic.
    What is an open-for-all zine?
    This means anyone who wants to contribute/create for this zine is welcome to join. Interested participants should be ready with 3 pitch(es) for our mods’ approval.
    Why is there a need to approve my pitch(es)/idea(s)?
    We are aiming to have less to none of the same Summer element(s) and theme(s) between writers and between artists.
    What if my pitch(es)/idea(s) weren’t approved?
    You are very welcome to place another set of pitch(es)/idea(s) for approval.
    Is poly allowed?
    No. We want this project to be DkBk-centric. Side ships are okay, though.
    Is genderbent allowed?
    Yes, of course!

    General Contributor GuidelinesContributors are required to submit the following during sign-ups for approval:1. At least 3 pitches that includes the summer-themed elements you want to work on and a little bit of context and tags2. Theme of your pitches/idea (SFW/NSFW/Problematic or Any)All interested participants should have a Discord account and are required to join our server. All communications will be done via discord only.IMPORTANT: Only the approved pitch/idea is to be worked on by the participants. If none of the idea(s) are approved, the contributor is welcome to place in new pitches for approval.They are required to submit their progress throughout the check-ins.Contributors can sign-up as a writer or as an artist or both, given that they can create a fic AND an art for this project. They are required to submit another sign-up form for their second role.Contributors are to create a minimum of one (1) piece at a time, except for those who signed-up with both roles.Contributors can sign-up as a pair. Paired writers and artists should submit a sign-up form separately and specify their partner’s twitter and discord usernames to be qualified. It is with understanding that paired artists during the sign-ups would create an art of
    the approved pitch of their writer-partners.
    Contributors can create another piece once their approved pitch has been completed.In case of no response from the contributor without any heads-up to the mods, may result in automatically dropping off from the zine.All explicit pieces should and only contain Top Izuku and Bottom Katsuki. No switching or implied switching.Writer Guidelines:
    - Create a one-shot fic with minimum of 2.5k words (max of 8k, with 500 words leeway) in English
    - Can use other language for dialogues if needed (provided with english translations)
    Artist Guidelines:
    - Create a fully-rendered page art or comic
    - Optional: Can collab with a writer
    Betareader:
    - Work with the writer mod to beta-read a number of fics assigned to them
    - Basic SPaG checks in fics
    Make sure that writers are aligned with the theme of the zine
